Greetings From Growth Season

Well friends, it’s hard to believe it has been six months since I last wrote to you.  To say 2026 has been a bit of a whirlwind would be an understatement.   Lots has happened, both locally and globally.  The year started out fast and has continued with high intensity. Perfectly en pointe for the year of the Fire Horse.

As we start to settle into the first days of summer, we are watering and nurturing the things we want to harvest this Fall.  Whether it be harvesting a literal garden or the growth within ourselves.   Planting a flower or planting a goal is much of the same, we set the intention and we set the seed.  We have faith and hope that with the right conditions and nurturing something will start to emerge.  We check in frequently to see if adjustments are needed.  Maybe our garden needs more watering, maybe our body needs more rest.    It’s in the regular check ins and care that supports our growth and enhances our yield.

Now that we are half way through the year, it is a great time to reconnect with our desires.  What were your goals, dreams and intentions for this year?   Remember way back six months ago to the things you said you were going to make happen. Do you still want to do them?  If so, go get it!   There is still plenty of time!  Maybe your 2026 has been so transformative that what you thought you wanted in January has completely changed, and that’s okay too.  We’re allowed to flow with what we desire.  We’re allowed to change our minds and our directions.  Go with what feels right and calls to you, today.

In Chinese astrology the year of the Fire Horse only comes every sixty years, or so.  Fire can represent energy, intensity and passion. The horse can represent action, freedom and breakthroughs.  What barriers do you want to break through this year?   What passion project is ready to emerge from the ethers?  Whatever it is, make like a horse and giddy up! You have six whole months to plant these seeds, you have six whole months to change habits and routines, but if we don’t actually move, we won’t get anywhere.  You got this, step by step, gallop by gallop.   Wishing you all a beautiful summer and growing season.

-With love and gratitude,

Lauren
